I love London Fog teas but when I went searching for a recipe I could not help but notice how complicated or time consuming the recipes are out there. I don't have a lot of time and there are only a few basic elements to this so here is a quick and easy way to make a London Fog. You need a milk frother for this recipe.
Since posting this recipe, I have refined it to make it a bit more perfect. Here is the revised version.

What you need:
3/4 cup of water
Earl Grey tea bag
1/2 cup of soy milk
Sugar or alternative, about 1 heaping tsp divided, less if you don't like sweet.
sp vanilla syrup, the kind you put in coffee (optional) 1 tsp
What to do: 1. Heat up 3/4 cup of water in a mug in the microwave for 2 minutes. Add earl grey tea bag, 1/2 tsp of sugar and steep a few minutes. Stir to make sure sugar is mixed.
2. In a separate mug, heat up 1/2 a cup of soymilk in the microwave on high for 1 minute. Add about a 1/2 tsp of sugar to the milk than froth with a milk frother. [Note: If your frother is not getting the job done, try changing the batteries. It can make a big difference.]

3. Remove the teabag from the tea and add a teaspoon of vanilla syrup if you are using it. Stir. 4. Add the soymilk to the tea. I use a spoon to stop the foam from pouring in with the milk then scoop the foam in after to keep it foamy. Enjoy your easy and delicious London Fog!

Recipe has been modified to make a larger serving. This picture is a little out of date but it shows the colour so I kept it. :)
