So I have recently developed a bad habit. I don't love water but I usually have ways of drinking it like adding lemon, carbonating it, flavouring it, etc. When I was pregnant I got lazy and started buying Mio to flavour my water. It's very convenient which is the problem.

To break this habit, I need something easy that I can just throw into water when I'm busy (which is always!). Thus I am freezing lime wedges and making up some fancy mint ice cubes that I can just grab easily.
How to do it:
1. Cut limes into wedges. Pop them into a plastic ziplock and freeze. Its best if they are flat and somewhat separate in the bag.
2. Wash a bunch of mint. Take off the leaves and add them to a blender with 3 cups of water. Blend and pour into ice cube trays. Freeze.
Now when I want to hydrate but not with boring water, I pop a few ice cubes and a few frozen limes in a glass and add water.

It's also a great way to cool down a gin and tonic without watering it down.
